My journey began in 1964 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and continued in London England until I was 18 years old. Throughout many of those years in London I attended boarding schools in Switzerland and England.  In 1989 I graduated with honors with a BA in Philosophy, and a minor in Political Sciences with a concentration in pre-law. Although I had planned to continue on to law school, fate intervened and a year long sabbatical turned into three years of working on cruise ships, one of which was spent on a world cruise. 

It was during this time, and thanks to good friends, that I was inspired to follow my passion for flying. A passion that I had discovered in my English boarding school at sixteen when my chemistry teacher, a former WWII RAF fighter pilot, taught me to fly. Eventually, after years of flight training and experience as a commuter airline Captain, in 1998 I landed at American Airlines where I am still an International Captain. 

In 2004 after enduring three years of anxiety after the 9/11 terror attacks, I resumed my search for answers. This time it became a spiritual quest, rather than the academic study of philosophy. Fifteen years of intense commitment to studying many spiritual belief systems culminated in my 2018 ordination with Pathways of Light.
